This is a cross between Alocasia 'Borneo Giant' and Alocasia 'VangiGo'.  You can see how it looks very similar to 'VangiGo'.  Combine this with the size of 'Borneo Giant' and you have one large good looking Alocasia.  This is also one of the EE's I've received from Aroidia Research and am not able to sell at this time.  This page is for information purposes only.  Please see the article in Dave's Garden about 'Imperial Giant'.

This Alocasia grows very large leaves with shorter stems.  The first leaf the emerged this year was around 18" long.  I'm told this plant produces many offset plants but my one and only has yet to do so.  Granted I have not repotted yet and may be suprised when I do.
