Odds and Ends
Offered here is a list of other plants I have available that do not fit into my more tropical "tabs".
Voodoo Lily $10.00 Zone 6-11
Sauromatum Venosum 'Voodoo Lily' have been collected by many to add a special flair to the garden. The one in this photo is a few years old and is very impressive to see how much it grows in one day once it starts. Most prefer afternoon shade but can take full shade.
Note:
Bloom smells really bad....I mean really bad....
Partial to Full Shade
Forsythia $8.00 Zone 4-8
Spring Forsythia in bloom. Can be an aggressive plant, but as you can see, is very amazing in the early spring.
I can offer cuttings for $1.00 select below.
Monkey Grass $5.00 Zone 4-10b
Great for borders or beside paths. Ideal for Full Sun to Partial Shade.
Monkey Grass 'Variegata' $10.00 Zone 6a-11
Similar to the Monkey Grass above but with Variegated leafs. Doesn't spread as fast either. Also can be planted in Full Sun to Partial Shade.
Purple Heart Wandering Jew $5.00 Zone 7b-11
This one is up for debate for some people. I find it to be one of my favorite plants in my garden. Purple Heart produces little pink/purple flowers over and over again. In my 7b area it dies to the ground every Winter and comes back every Spring.
Cutting can be taken placed in water and stored on a window over winter to get a head start on next Spring planting.
Wandering Jew 'Inch Plant' $5.00 Zone 9-11
Another no nonsense plant. Very easy to keep alive. What's the trick? Water and Light. Many times I just break a piece of this plant off and toss in a pot with another plant. Only to come back a few days later and it has started to root in the new pot.
